General Terms
Which rules apply when I play at Red Deer Casino?
1.1 These General Terms are a binding agreement between you and Red Deer Casino. They apply from the moment you open an account, deposit funds or place a stake in the Lobby, Live Casino, Jackpots or any other area of our site.
1.2 Registering or playing means you accept these General Terms along with our other policy pages: Promotion Terms, Your Privacy, About Cookies, Player Protection, Identity Checks and 19+ Policy. Should you disagree with any of them, please refrain from using the site.
1.3 Some games and promotions carry specific rules. Those rules apply alongside these General Terms. Where the two conflict, the more specific rule governs that game or promotion.
How are the games run, and what happens if one fails?
2.1 The rules, paytable and return figure for every title are set out in the information panel inside that game. Please read them before you stake.
2.2 A random number generator supplied by the game studio decides outcomes in our slots, video poker and RNG table titles. Your balance, past stakes and time spent playing have no effect on results.
2.3 Real dealers run Live Casino tables from a studio, and the action is streamed to your screen. The outcome logged by the studio's system is final, even if your stream lagged or froze.
2.4 A malfunction voids all plays and payouts affected by it. If a game, server or connection fault produces a result, win or credit that the game would not normally produce, we correct the balance and void the affected rounds. Stakes on voided rounds are returned to you.
2.5 If you lose your connection during a round, the round normally completes on the server and the outcome is credited to your balance. Your game history shows the final result.
Can these General Terms change?
3.1 We update these General Terms whenever there is a change to our products, payment options or legal obligations.
3.2 Before a material change takes effect, we tell you about it by email or through an on-site message. This page shows the date of the current version.
3.3 Continuing to play after a revised version takes effect counts as acceptance. If you do not agree, stop playing and email us to request account closure. Any withdrawable balance will be paid out to you.
What conduct is not allowed?
4.1 The following are prohibited:
- using bots, scripts or any automated software to play;
- colluding with other players, or sharing information to gain an edge at live or shared tables;
- deliberately exploiting a game fault, pricing error or software weakness;
- holding more than one account, or using another person's identity;
- funding your account with a card, wallet or bank account that belongs to someone else;
- fraud, money laundering, or any use of the site to move funds that are not lawfully yours;
- reversing a deposit through a chargeback after playing with it;
- hiding where you are by using a VPN, proxy or any similar tool;
- abusive or threatening messages to our support team.
4.2 Where we find prohibited conduct, we can void affected stakes and winnings, hold balances during an investigation, freeze or close the account, and pass information to the relevant authorities where Canadian law requires it.
What is Red Deer Casino not liable for?
5.1 Our games are designed as entertainment, and any stake carries a risk of loss. Never stake more than you can comfortably afford to lose.
5.2 We accept no liability for losses caused by internet outages, device faults, or network and system failures outside our control.
5.3 We accept no liability for indirect loss, such as lost profit, lost opportunity or lost data.
5.4 Our total liability for any single claim is limited to the stake or deposit directly involved in that claim.
5.5 These limits do not reduce any protection you hold under Canadian consumer law where the law does not permit that protection to be excluded.
How do I register, and can I hold more than one account?
6.1 Only one account is permitted per person. Duplicate accounts we detect will be closed, and we may void any bonuses or winnings gained by using them.
6.2 At registration, give accurate details: your full name, residential address, date of birth and email address. Keep them current by updating your account if anything changes.
6.3 We verify your identity and your playing location before accepting your first deposit. Further checks may be needed before a withdrawal is released. Our Identity Checks page lists the documents we require.
6.4 Your username and password are for your use alone. Do not share them. If you suspect someone else has access, email [email protected] straight away.
Who is eligible to play?
7.1 Play is restricted to players aged 19 and over. Our 19+ Policy sets out how we protect minors.
7.2 You must be located in Canada. Accounts are offered only to players in regions of the country where online casino play is allowed by local law.
7.3 Anyone found to fall outside these conditions will have the account closed and winnings voided. Deposits are returned where the law allows.
How do bonuses fit in?
8.1 Every bonus, free spin, tournament prize and Red Deer Rewards benefit is governed by our Promotion Terms.
8.2 On any bonus question where the Promotion Terms and these General Terms differ, the Promotion Terms apply.
Which law applies to this agreement?
9.1 We accept players only from jurisdictions in which online play is lawful. We comply with Canadian requirements covering anti-money laundering, age verification and identity checks.
9.2 This agreement is interpreted under the laws that apply in Canada, including the laws in force where you live.
How do I raise a complaint?
10.1 Email [email protected] with your username, when the issue occurred (date and time), the game or transaction concerned, and the result you would like.
10.2 We examine every complaint. After checking the account and game records, we email you our decision along with the reasons for it.
10.3 Should our response leave you unsatisfied, reply and ask for escalation. A senior team member will then examine the matter afresh from the beginning.
Who holds the rights to what appears on the site?
11.1 We or our licensors own the Red Deer Casino name, logo, design and text. Game content belongs to the studios that supply it.
11.2 This site is intended solely for personal, non-commercial play. Copying, scraping, framing or reproducing any of our content is not permitted.
How are deposits and withdrawals handled?
12.1 All balances, stakes and payouts are in Canadian dollars (CAD).
12.2 Deposit methods: Interac e-Transfer, Visa, Mastercard, Google Pay, MuchBetter, Jeton and eCheck. The minimum deposit is C$10.
